Cicely Thomas, M.Ed., RDN, LD (Diversity Liaison) is currently pursing a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition at the University of North Florida. She is the Northwest Georgia WIC Service Nutrition Services Director and serves as the nutrition section president for the Georgia Public Health Association. Cicely has been a public health clinician for 20 years and loves serving her community.

Mairead O'Hare, RDN, LD (Student Services Coordinator) is a clinical dietitian at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA. Mairead completed her Dietetic Internship at Emory University Hospital and received her undergraduate degree at University of Georgia. Mairead has been a clinical dietitian for two years and has just joined the WM DPG. She also volunteers with the Georgia Dietetic Foundation which provides scholarships and stipends for students and dietitians.

Justine Karduck, PhD, RDN, LDN, CDCES (Member Survey Coordinator) is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Justine directs a top-ranked accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, whose graduates achieve a 100% first-year pass rate on the national CDR Registered Dietitian Certification Exam. As a former clinical dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist, she utilizes many years of experience in the field to train future dietitians. The focus of her Ph.D. was on the role of health apps in glycemic control and dietary-related outcomes in patients with diabetes and obesity. Outside of work, Justine enjoys chasing her twin boys around to all of their sporting activities and hiking with her two German Shepherds, Hazel and Axl.

Hollie Raynor, PhD, RD, LDN (Academy Alliance Representative) is a Professor in the Department of Nutrition and the Interim Assistant Dean of Research in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences at the University of Tennessee. She holds a MS in Public Health Nutrition and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She conducts research in lifestyle interventions for pediatric and adult weight management and has published over 125 peer-reviewed articles. |

Chelsea Price, MS, RD, LDN ( Awards and Honors) is the bariatric coordinator at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital in Arizona. She completed the Certificate of Training in Obesity and Weight Management in 2017 and is new to volunteering with the DPG. She lives outside of Phoenix with her long-time boyfriend, three year old son, and two dogs. You can find her baking, hiking and spending time with family during free time. |

Katie Chapmon, MS, RDN (Awards and Honors Assistant Coordinator) Katie Chapmon, MS, RD specializes in Bariatric Nutrition, GI Issues and Hormonal Health and with 10+ years of hands-on clinical experience. She is the proud recipient of the 2010 Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award and 2018 Excellence in Weight Management Practice Award through the Academy. She spent the first decade of her career as a lead bariatric dietitian and currently maintains a virtual private practice, as well as providing nutrition education within the bariatric surgery field.

Molly Wangsgaard, MS, RDN, LD, NSCA-CPT, CHWC ( Volunteer Coordinator) works for Premise Health as a Wellness Supervisor at a corporate health center and has a small private practice. She received BS degrees in Human Nutrition and Kinesiology from Kansas State University and an MS degree in Nutrition in Sport and Chronic Disease from Virginia Tech before completing her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Molly has volunteered for the WM DPG over the years by serving as Newsletter Editor and Secretary as well as on a handful of committees.

Stephanie K. Jones, MPH,RD, LD, CHES (Nutrition Services Payment Specialist) Stephanie Jones is the Wellness Consultant at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She is responsible for helping develop, administer, and manage employee nutrition and wellness programs for the company. Stephanie’s background is in clinical dietetics, counseling, and corporate wellness. She holds her MPH and she is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®). Stephanie is also a candidate for the graduate certificate in Total Worker Health® from the University of Colorado Denver.

Tracy L. Oliver, Ph.D., RDN, LDN (Virtual Symposium Chair) is an Associate Professor in the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University. She earned her B.S. in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh, and both her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees are from Temple University in the field of Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. Tracy has previously worked at The University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Weight and Eating Disorders and Temple University’s Center for Obesity Research and Education in the areas of weight management and behavior modification. Tracy has served on the WM DPG’s leadership team for the past nine years in various roles including Weight Management in the News Coordinator, CPEU newsletter Editor, Chair-Elect and Chair. |
