Laura Andromalos, MS, RD, RN, CSOWM, CDCES (Chair) has specialized in the treatment of obesity and diabetes for over 13 years. She is a labor and delivery nurse at Hennepin Healthcare where she combines her dual disciplines to support the health of women and newborns. She holds a BS in Nutrition Sciences from Cornell University and a MS in Health Communication from Boston University. She is currently working on a MS in Nursing. She has previously served as the blast email coordinator and bariatric subunit director for the WM DPG. She is a flying trapeze artist and loves traveling with her husband, Mike, and puppy, Bandit.

Melissa Page, MS, RDN, CSOWM, LDN (Chair-Elect) is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Obesity Weight Management who has worked in bariatrics for the past 8 years in Portland, ME and Boston. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and a Bachelor’s in Dietetics from Indiana University. She has been an active member of both the Weight Management DPG executive council and her local state affiliate associations. She believes policy and advocacy are essential to the advancement of our profession and the health of our nation.

Emily Burchins, MS, RDN, CSO, LDN (Past Chair) has been a volunteer with WM DPG for more than ten years. She has held the positions of Chair Elect/Chair (2020-2022), Treasurer (2018-2020) and Newsletter Editor (2016-2018). Emily completed a Dietetic Internship and Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition at East Tennessee State University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Foods from Appalachian State University. Emily resides in Charlotte, NC.

Mikel Bryant, MS, RDN, CSOWM, LDN (Secretary)is the Lead Dietitian and CSOWM at Sensibly Sprouted Nutrition in Bellingham, WA. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and her adorable cat, Burt Reynolds (yes, he has a mustache). She has also recently gotten into hiking and backpacking, which keeps her busy on the weekends. One day, she might even complete the Appalachian Trail! Until then, she will continue to use her passion and knowledge of food and nutrition to further guide her patients on how to make the most of each day and live their best lives. |

Courtney Luecking, PhD, MPH, RDN (Treasurer) Courtney Luecking is an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist for Health and Nutrition at the University of Kentucky. Her portfolio of work aims to improve population health and health equity in Kentucky through facilitating cross-sector partnerships with Cooperative Extension and development, implementation, and evaluation of multi-level interventions that elevate the quality of nutrition and feeding environments during the early childhood period. Her previous work experiences span clinical, community, and research settings.

Colleen Tewksbury, PhD, MPH, RD, CSOWM, LDN (Delegate) Colleen Tewksbury is the Bariatric Program Manager for the University of Pennsylvania Health System and a Senior Research Investigator for University of Pennsylvania. Her areas of research focus on pre-operative optimization and access for persons seeking bariatric surgery. Colleen has served in various positions for Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The Obesity Society including as a Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Immediate-Past President of the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Jillian Reece, RD, LDN (Nominating Committee Director) Jillian Reece RD, LDN is the lead Clinical Bariatric Dietitian for the Weight and Wellness Center at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Her prior positions include Group Leader with Instinct health Sciences and inpatient and outpatient dietitian at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. Jill completed her dietetic internship at Mount Auburn in 2008 and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Lillian Craggs-Dino, DHA, RDN, LDN (Nominating Committee Director-Elect) Dr. Lillian Craggs-Dino, DHA, RDN, LDN, is a nationally and internationally known Registered and Licensed Dietitian and a highly sought after presenter, lecturer, faculty member, and practitioner. Her specialty is in weight management and bariatric nutrition, and she has written several publications on the subject. Dr. Lillian is recognized as a proven leader and forward-thinker in the field of bariatric nutrition. She currently holds an Executive Council position for ASMBS and volunteers on many committees.
