Overview:
Complications associated with bariatric surgery can and do occur. The aim of this webinar is to provide the tools to manage the complicated bariatric patient that may require nutrition support and to develop awareness of the common complications associated with the different types of bariatric procedures.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- List three indications for initiation of nutrition support therapy in the bariatric surgery patient.
- List three complications associated with enteral nutrition.
- List three complications associated with parenteral nutrition.
- List common complications of gastric banding.
